Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need gym access to do an online program?
It depends on the program. Some of our programs require full commercial or a well-equipped home gym to complete the workouts, while other may require only resistance bands or no equipment at all. Please check the specific program page for more detail.
Q: Will you guys help me out with nutrition as well?
In the FitLAB Basic program you're on your own, but each of our group training program participants and one-on-one clients receive access to our online nutrition forum where we'll give you info about the impact that certain types of foods have on your body and provide you with some guidelines for calorie and macronutrient intake. In addition, you'll also have access to our integrated nutrition app so you can keep track of your progress.
Q: I just want to 'tone up.' Can online programs help me with that?
Absolutely! 'Tone up' is just another way of saying 'increase muscle mass and decrease body fat' and all of our programs will help you do that!
Q: I've had some injuries over the years and there are some things I can't do. Can I still participate in an online fitness program?
As long as you have been cleared by your doctor to participate in an exercise program, than yes. If you have any issues completing a specific exercise or workout in our programs we will provide you with an alternative.
Q: Do online fitness programs really work?
Absolutely! You've still gotta do the work though. Online fitness programs are a great way to get into shape while saving some dough. They allow you to work around your own schedule (without having to book appointments with your trainer) and the group format provides an awesome support network where everyone is working towards similar goals. It often results in our members making some really cool new friends, sometimes on the other side of the globe!
Q: Do I have to commit to a specific length of time?
FitLAB Basic memberships are month by month, but for our group programs we require a commitment for the duration of the program (some are 2 months and some 4) and one-on-one training requires a minimum 2-month commitment. This is to make sure that you have enough time to start seeing results. Rome wasn't built in a day and the epic masterpiece that will be sculpting together deserves the same level of dedication.
